You gotta love a Cinderella from a small regional conference with an up and coming coach like the Arkansas Razorbacks out of the Southeastern under John Calipari.

Big Z has fouled out for Arkansas with 12 minutes left. This is going to be a bloodbath to the end, see who has enough bodies. But the Hogs have a 12-point cushion to work with.

Fierce first half of mini-runs between Arkansas and St. John's. Hogs up three at halftime. Johnnies have been a great second-half team, and will get full use of Richmond and Wilcher after sitting them most of the first with foul issues.

Arkansas trainers are working on Billy Richmond's left thigh. Hogs are already down to seven guys.

Ole Miss leads Arkansas 42-34 at halftime. Lead had been as high as 15 before a late flurry got the Hogs back in it. Rebels are aggressive and athletic.

One-point escape at home after losing a 14-point lead isn't a huge endorsement of Arkansas as an NCAA team, but it sure beats a Horrible Loss. Looks like there will be a four-way tie for ninth in the SEC with Vandy, Georgia, Miss State and the Hogs. Not sure how that sorts out.

HL Final: South Carolina 72, Arkansas 53. Hogs were down 30 much of the second half. Can a bubble team afford a blowout loss to the last-place team in its league? What if Drake, VCU, UC San Diego or a non-power conference bubble team lost like that now. They'd be buried.
