Mark Shapiro on Vlad Jr.: 'I think we're going to extend him'
Star first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and the Blue Jays did not reach an agreement on a contract extension before the slugger's Feb. 18 deadline, but that hasn't dimmed team president Mark Shapiro's optimism that they will eventually come to terms on a deal.
