Welcome back to A Pod of Their Own, an all-women led Home Run Applesauce podcast where we talk all things Mets, social justice issues in baseball, and normalize female voices in the sports podcasting space. 

This week, we begin by chatting about the state of the Mets’ rotation now that both Frankie Montas and Sean Manaea will start the season on the injured list. We also rave about the Mets’ pitching lab and that the Mets finally seem to be developing relievers. 

We then choose our Dudes for 2025 - guys that we think are going to be unsung heroes this season. We then answer a couple of listener questions about the Mets spring training hats and about our NL East predictions for this season.

We also discuss the Mets’ new $5 Tuesdays promotion, the end of MLB’s partnership with ESPN, and Rob Manfred considering reinstating Pete Rose. 

Finally, we wrap things up with Walk-off Wins, where each of us talks about what’s making us happy this week, baseball-related or otherwise.
