One of the funniest players in the history of hockey Keith Yandle joined us this week! Before we get to our interview, Riley Cote and Derek Settlemyre start the show talking about what they’re up to and how they spent their birthdays. Jumping into some hockey talk they discuss the Flyers 1-6-0 homestand, Travis Konecny’s struggles, and the Flyers front office sticking to the rebuild plan. Jumping around the NHL we discuss the tight playoff races, Brayden Schenn’s 1000th game celebration, and Bob “The Hound” Kelly retiring. Former Coyotes, Rangers, Panthers, and Flyers defenseman Keith Yandle joined us for a hilarious interview. Yands starts off by talking to us about what he’s up to these days, recently joining Spittin’ Chiclets, he admits how he was hard to manage in the locker room and being high maintenance, and how Yandle was able to break the NHL Iron Man record. Jumping into his Coyotes days we discuss the White Out in Phoenix in the 2012 playoffs, playing with Paul Bissonnette and Ilya Bryzgalov, and having Wayne Gretzky as a coach. Wrapping up the interview we talk about Keith’s last season playing with the Flyers, the culture, not living up the expectations, and playing with Scott Laughton, Nick Seeler, and his best friend Kevin Hayes.
