The power play woes have continued into the playoffs and could derail Buffalo's efforts to take down the Bruins in round one. On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by broadcaster Steve Bermel for instant live reaction just minutes following the conclusion of the Buffalo Sabres getting what they deserved Tuesday night, a game two loss against Boston to even the series at a game apiece.

Following a scoreless first period where the Sabres got away with playing leaky, they weren't as fortunate in the second. Boston scored three goals including one of those softest goals you'll see to give them a two goal cushion and confidence. They chased UPL early in the third period and the Sabres now go into game three in Boston tied 1-1.

The guys talk about a power play that continues to stink, too many giveaways, lousy on faceoffs, bad penalties and quite frankly, bad goaltending after the first 2o minutes doing them in.

Does Buffalo go with Alex Lyon in game three? Will Lindy Ruff make any lineup changes in Boston? Is Patrick over seeing the Buffalo Bills featured on TV in the Arena press box?

SABRES POWERPLAY needs fixing if they want to make a deep playoff run

In Game 1 against the Boston Bruins, the Sabres went 0 for 4 on the powerplay, which now makes it 0 for 26 in the month of April. The Sabres can beat the Bruins without a powerplay this series, but if they advance, they will absolutely need it to give them something to make a deep playoff run. Zone exits and faceoffs appear to be the biggest issues with their man advantage. Is there a fix for either? Is it nuts to throw Josh Dunne out there just for the faceoff? Sneaky Joe explores what they could do that they haven't tried yet.

Plus, what the Sabres need to do better in Game 2 against the Bruins, including getting to the middle of the ice more, and hopefully seeing a more comfortable Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen.

And whether or not the Sabres should think of replacing someone for Noah Ostlund, and whether the Bruins should go with Henri Jokiharju.
