The Carolina Hurricanes are up 2-0 in the series, and are looking to take a 3-0 stranglehold on the series. That said, what are the three storylines heading into Game 3 against the Ottawa Senators? On the Thursday Edition of Locked On Hurricanes, Zach begins the story by giving his first storyline heading into Game 3, which features Frederik Andersen. After giving up two goals through the first two games, can Andersen keep his current run of form going? His 0.78 GAA and .967 SV% have been huge for the Hurricanes, and they will be looking for him to stay red hot in the crease. Secondly, Zach shares his thoughts on how the Hurricanes will need to stick to their structure and fend off the Seantors' push at home in Game 3. With them being down 2-0 already and not wanting to go down 3-0, the Senators will be aggressive. The Hurricanes will need to fend that off and counter them with their system. Lastly, Zach concludes the show by looking at the big players stepping up in Game 3. While the second line has been producing, along with Sebastian Aho and Jordan Martinook getting on the xcoresheet, the Hurricanes will need the top guys to get rolling and really put pressure on the Senators. What Should Carolina Hurricanes Fans Be Concerned or Not Concerned About After 2 Games?

The Carolina Hurricanes are up 2-0 in the series after winning Games 1 (2-0) and Game 2 (3-2) as the series shifts to Ottawa. However, before we focus on Game 3, what should Hurricanes fans be concerned about or not concerned about? On the Wednesday Edition of Locked On Hurricanes, Zach shares his thoughts on what fans should not be concerned about. One of them is Frederik Andersen, who has a sub-1.00 goals against average and a .967 save percentage. Despite the one soft goal he gave up in Game 2, Andersen has been lights out for the Hurricanes through the first two games. Zach also discusses how the depth and physicality have worked in the Hurricanes' favor, especially as the game went into double overtime on Monday night. Secondly, Zach shares his thoughts on what could be legitimate concerns, despite being up 2-0 in the series. We’re riding a stretch where the Canes look fast, confident, and dangerous, and some nights they look like the best team in the East. The question is what matters most when the Stanley Cup playoffs start: the numbers, the matchups, or the moments where one save changes a series. Hurricanes' TV Analyst, Shane Willis, joins us to break it all down.
