So we're not out of it. We're not in it either. Spurs 1-1 Leeds at home, another night that started with hope and ended with that same nervy feeling that's followed this team around all season. Mathys Tel gave us a goal worth the ticket price. A proper curler from the edge of the box, his fourth of the season, the kind of finish you actually remember. Then a few minutes later he flings a leg at a clearance, catches Ampadu in the face, and Calvert-Lewin levels from the spot. Two contrasting moments that pretty much sum up his year in N17. But the moment everyone will be talking about is James Maddison stepping back on a Premier League pitch for the first time in 368 days. Standing ovation. Twenty minutes including stoppage time. Sharp from the off, nearly won us a late penalty, looked like the player we've been missing all year. Whatever you think of where Spurs are right now, that moment lifted the roof. The bad news? One win at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since December. Two points clear of West Ham with two games to play. Chelsea away on Tuesday. Everton at home on the final day. We're still above the line, but only just, and if West Ham win at Newcastle on Sunday we could be back in the bottom three before we even kick a ball at Stamford Bridge. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Actor Darren Hart, Luke and Marlon as a drama-filled evening finished all square on Monday as we picked up what could prove to be an important point in our battle against relegation, although we were frustrated not to have taken more on the night.

Having seen West Ham United lose on Sunday, we knew a victory would be a massive step towards survival and gave it a real go against Leeds United, with Mathys Tel scoring a stunning opener after a goalless first half.

Spurs missed the chance to open up a four point gap on West Ham this evening after one of the most shocking examples of officiating many of us will have ever seen took place. It felt like Spurs were in charge after Tel's wonder goal, but he went from hero to zero after his high boot in the box resulted in a penalty for Leeds and Spurs couldn't quite find a way back after that, despite James Maddison returning after more than a year away from the game.
