Lefty Daniel Zamora looked good today for Mets. He faced 3 righty hitters in the third inning and the only base runner was the result of an error. Miguel Cabrera hit into a double play ending that inning. With the 3-batter minimum rule this year for relievers, good for Zamora.
Tim Tebow chatted with Kirk Gibson before both left the ballpark. Gibson and Tebow’s father both are battling Parkinson’s disease, which they discussed, in addition to Tebow’s baseball journey. “(Gibson) was just encouraging me and saying some nice things,” Tebow said.
