Third quarters have been an issue this season, mainly because Bucks rank last in defensive rating in 3rd quarters. Bucks net rating by quarter: 1st: +8.0 2nd: +11.5 3rd: -4.1 4th: +0.6
I think this is the correct macro Bucks take. Getting thru reg season healthy is by far job 1, and we know they can win w/o home court. That said: you’d rather just take care of business and finish top 3 vs give away enough games that you drop to 5-6. Don’t make life too hard.
Very much a 21/22 Bucks performance. Bucks didn’t match Toronto’s physicality despite the rest advantage. Some very sloggy offensive games without Holiday.
Losing to Toronto at home when they're on a SEGABABA is pathetic tbh
Unlike the Warrior, Raptors have been way more consistent at putting pressure on Bucks at the point of attack defensively. Limiting Giannis catches inside arc. Takes a lot of effort but it’s the obvious way to expose the Bucks’ lack of PG depth with Jrue out.
The first 8 episodes of Station Eleven are really good TV. But the last 2 are some of the best TV I’ve seen in the last few years. I was a little skeptical of comparisons to The Leftovers — S2/3 is some of my fave TV of the decade — but Station Eleven really delivered.
So I'd be shocked if Bucks made any major moves ahead of deadline, but Brook issue means they could use a big in near term to get thru reg season (ie the Boogie question). And if Brook isn't back at all then they need a real big for playoffs (cue usual RoLo speculation).
Bucks' trade deadline/buyout ambitions seem to mostly depend on Brook's status. Don't see Bucks trading him given his value to them + injury uncertainty/money owed. Which also makes it hard to acquire anyone >$10m given what they can offer (Donte + min guys).

RT @KanePitman: The Bucks picked up Wesley Matthews mid-season as a free agent and now have had him guarding Kevin Durant one night and Steph Curry the next. Maybe the break was good for him but he's been a great addition to the roster and his defensive versatility should be important.
Javonte Smart had a solid first 2 games…and then proceeded to shoot 6/33 and not sniff the court even when literally every other Bucks guard was out last weekend. Makes sense to try another option and cool to reward Wigginton given his excellent play of late for Herd.
The Milwaukee Bucks are signing Lindell Wigginton to a two-way contract, according to a league source.
