RT @ProspectInsider: Just read a letter to the editor from someone who claims to no longer be a fan of the baseball team in Cleveland because they removed racist & offensive logos & nicknames. Not because they don't try to keep their stars, not because they don't spend in general... because racism.
Ummm... what? In a year with more available players than normal and less than half the cap space league-wide, this is the year to look for bargains, not overpay for old players.
So Russ isn’t going to the Cowboys
Cowboys are giving Dak Prescott a four-year, $160 million deal, including a record $126 million guaranteed, source tells ESPN. The first three years average $42 million per year.
Wishing the best for Ryan and family.
I’m asking everyone that this tweet comes across to please just take a second and say a prayer for our son Christian. He’s 9 months and currently in the hospital after he woke up in his blood. He’s Covid positive.
RT @NWSeahawk: @MyersNFL & I have had this shared viewpoint now since Waldron was the new OC hire, that this is a public pressure strategy by Wilson and Rodgers, to effect the changes they want. Could Wilson be traded? Yes. But at this point, we agree with @gbellseattle that he won't be. https://t.co/j6TA6Kux8C
He posted a think on IG about chapter 2 in the PNW not long ago. Makes me wonder if this is closer than we realize.
“Never show it to me” make me think there’s a story here that’ll be rather entertaining
That said, my position on fanfic sequels to OMW (or any other of my work) has been constant for some time: Have fun, don't try to make money from it, and never show it to me.
And all of that is just the spreadsheet reasons. There is also the fact that your employees are humans and not just cogs in a machine. They deserve to be treated well. They need to be able to afford rent and food. Take care of them. They’re worth it.
Again, the economics favor treating your employees better. Training new staff is expensive overall and productivity drops tremendously when you have to replace someone. Plus, customers notice when there is staff turnover. For many reasons, revenue will drop.
