@dstaples @AdamsOnHockey @Caliel4truth Me, 2 weeks before trade: "Bottom line, while criticism of Strome’s offensive woes is certainly justified, the talk in some quarters that he deserves to come out of the line-up or somehow get shipped out of town altogether are off-base to this observer." https://t.co/bQxLDb4cHZ
Thoughtful column on racism from a provincial treasure, Don Braid of the Calgary Herald.
Anyone still complaining about contract for Koskinen, the Three Metre Man? He's silenced most critics for now.
RT @DavidStaplesYEG: Doug Ford & Francois Legault have shot up in popularity. But Ontario has 5 time & Quebec 15 times the death rate from COVID-19 as B.C. & Alberta. Kenney's been called "heartless" but data-driven approach that trusts in Albertans works #ableg #cdnpoli https://t.co/zqe2Y69FbN https://t.co/OC1PHTUQXY
Which teams won the at the NHL's weirdest trade deadline and playoff run? Who should RNH play with in the playoffs? And what do you think of Mikko Koskinen's contract now? @BruceMcCurdy and David Staples of the Edmonton Journal dig in. https://t.co/AEJuHTzpAR
@JasonGregor Doesnt matter where the hub is. Start times can be adjusted locally with TV audiences in mind. It's not as if paying fans would be inconvenienced 12:00, 16:30 & 21:00 local start times if hub in Chicago =11:00, 15:30. 20:00 local start times if hub in Edmonton = same TV times
@JasonGregor Funky start times are all the more reason NHL should have stuck with divisional playoffs. Play the Central games first, then the Pacific games later. Optimize start time for both teams' target audiences. The whole reason NHL did divisions vertically not horizontally
