In 1922, Montreal Canadiens owner Leo Dandurand pulled off one of the biggest trades in the young history of the National Hockey League by trading superstar Newsy Lalonde to the Saskatoon Crescents of the West Coast Hockey League for a young unknown by the name of Aurele Joliat.
