  • A new occasional feature from yours truly, at @TheAthletic: The Free Agency File. On the Clippers' Kawhi Leonard strategy (that he doesn't know about) and why it's more commendable than it is controversial https://t.co/vRzvm1RjSf

  • It's Q&A time at @TheAthletic, where we're here to answer any and all of your pressing questions about the first third of the season and - more importantly - what might come next. I'll answer them tomorrow morning, but you can get your 'Q' in here now. https://t.co/4ly3FtBBPH

  • Ok, ok. Calm down Raptors faithful. Just amazed that Denver is is doing this, and how they’re doing it (top four in defense entering play).
    @sam_amick No Lowry, Siakam, VanVleet, Valanciunas for the Raptors either. Only 3rd game in 7 for the Nuggets. Raps on the tail of a 4 game road trip thru LA,GS and Portland. Just some things to take into consideration!

  • Man, these Nuggets are out here beating the Kawhi Leonard-Raptors without Gary Harris, Paul Millsap or Will Barton (not to mention Isaiah Thomas or Michael Porter Jr.). Best-in-the-West record of 20-9, holding Toronto to season-low scoring in 95-86 win.

  • No Otto Porter either.
    Two players down because of pending trade (Kelly Oubre, Austin Rivers) and Markieff Morris (strained neck) missing all but 11 minutes, nice win for Wizards vs. Lakers. John Wall: 40 points, 14 assists Bradley Beal 25 points, 12 rebounds Jeff Green, 20 points Sam Dekker, 20 points

  • This is fair. I’m partly just reading this Luka-Bagley room as a thought exercise.
    @sam_amick Bro its the Kings why are we talking “fit” here?

  • First, LukA. And no, but he's a playmaker whose presence would have had an impact on others - second on the Mavs in usage rate behind J.J. Barea. Again, we'll never know. Just wonder how it might look/function.
    @sam_amick Luke - backcourt?

  • Often lost in the Kings-Luka debate: While he's clearly a fantastic player who you can argue they should have drafted, they also have the most improved backcourt in the league without him in De'Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield. We'll never know how those pieces might have fit together.
