Cincinnati Bengals assistant head coach and special teams coordinator Darrin Simmons returns to In The Trenches with Dave Lapham, presented by First Star Logistics, to discuss the rough start to the 2022 season as the Bengals lost Clark Harris in Week One against the Pittsburgh Steelers for the season.

With Mitch Wilcox forced into emergency action against the Steelers, Simmons and the Bengals had built a trust level with college undrafted free agent Cal Adomitis, and the Bengals were able to ride out the storm until Week Two against the Dallas Cowboys.

Simmons talks about the season's first two games and looks at Week Three opponent, the New York Jets.
