The guys talk about the defensive pairings and how well they played in the game. Then they transition to the offense lighting up Jeremy Swayman, including a first NHL goal for Oskar Back. The guys then talk about the penalty shot Evgeni Dadonov scored on and his success at penalty shots. Jake Oettinger has had back to back great starts after Winnipeg lit him up Saturday. Robert says this was truly the bounceback game for Jake because Pittsburgh was not a real test with how bad they’ve been this season. Gavin and Robert reiterate how massive the test will be on Saturday with Minnesota as they’ve been very good this season. The guys answer questions from listeners to wrap.
