I look at this way: If you're the win-now TB and your window's tightening due to a massive cap crunch that will force tough decisions on key pieces, probably. Coleman making just $1.8M through next season and scoring 67th-most goals in hockey since 2018 certainly helps.
Definitely a legit question. But I can understand the thinking that you have to have some veterans to help the younger guys and try to be competitive next season. With what they got for Coleman and all the circumstances, I think they made the right decision.
RT @UpperDeckHockey: Matt Harris Also known as Big Chief Wannamak'emcheer, Matt made his official debut when he won the 98.5 @NHLBruins super fan contest. Since then, he’s made it a point of using his “fame” to host charity events, work fundraisers and help many worthy causes. #MyMVP #MyMVPBruins https://t.co/BVcE3j3eUc
RT @BWildeGlobal: You can see this as positive or negative that the deals made have had sellers getting huge returns. For me, this is a massive Habs positive. Bergevin can have the greatest 10 days of his career right now. Many firsts. Many prospects. Draft in MTL. Scene is set for amazing.
Whole team should have walked off with him. If you say "they would have had to forfeit," fine. Let Liga NOS punish a team for standing up to racism with an auto-loss and see what happens. Trash.
