RT @madsal15: @andyhre @JayBilas @patrick_hruby @mmountshoop @PiranhaRGJ @coachjohnshoop @RodGilmore @janesports @linzsports @bomani_jones @EssexAce13 For a quick summary of how the new #NCAA transfer rules do more harm than good for athletes, while providing a new way for schools to revoke scholarships (as discussed @NCLeg )... https://t.co/ZukR2xYGQw
A hearing has been set in the Maori Davenport case. The AHSAA needs to do the right thing here. Just reinstate her, now. It does not compromise rules or the ability to enforce them. Any suggestion otherwise is nonsense. Reinstate her. End this. https://t.co/bihN68Yy7n
Not sure I’ve seen an end of game handled this badly since the 1972 Olympic Gold Medal game. This was egregious. Tipped ball? Game over, Rice wins. Catch, turn around and shoot in .5 seconds? Game over, Rice wins. What a bummer.
Absolutely. Politics has been intertwined in American sport from the very beginning. And if people really want to go that route...then they shouldn’t want the anthem to be played at games at all. But idk if we’re going there tonight. ?
Love to see this. One of my all-time favorite PGs! He left an unbelievable footprint within the @spurs organization. A true champion!
THIS is one hundred percent true. On all counts. And seeing as this nation doesn’t do enough for its soldiers and veterans...it’s a really important point. The intersection of sports and politics has always been there though, so to me a WH visit is OK either way.
I've always found it very strange. First responders, survivors of crime, etc. don't get the red carpet rolled out to meet and be honored by the president. It's one thing if it's a national team, and even then, it's still a massive intersection of sports & politics. https://t.co/PymueRLDxO
Sad but true. Sidebar: he must not work. If it ain’t in my calendar, it ain’t happening ?
This dude asked me to go out with him tonight. When I told him I need more advance notice, he said “like what, 3-5 days?” Lmao. You clowns really feel entitled to women’s time and that’s wild
RT @jemelehill: You honestly don’t have the bandwidth for this convo. I speak at colleges & universities all the time, where there is significant interest in journalism among ppl of color. But I get it, it’s so much easier to blame us than critically look at the lack of access/opportunity. https://t.co/IDLMofuA4u
Wow. Um...wrong. Looking forward to seeing every quote/retweet/DRAG of this comment.
People are dragging CBS for not having enough black people, but has anyone considered the obvious explanation that many black people have no interest in journalism? Cultures are different and value different things. Doesn’t make CBS the KKK.
This is so applicable to everything. By all means improve...but BE YOURSELF. Sidebar: you better ask about the??? gear he’s got. And cop it. (If still available.)
Side note: I’ve been playing high level basketball for about 16 years now....with the same damn 4 moves. But, sure, listen to the guys teaching 20 dribble moves. Just do what YOU do, baby!
