Don't get me started on NFL preseason extortion.
@stewardsfolly 73.00 to see a practice game is ridiculous. But football makes season ticket holders pay for pre season. I can’t opt out of pre season tickets as a season ticket holder. I would ❤️ to. In addition to paying for 4 tickets I’ve got to drive there & park for glorified practice game
There are many outdoor activities you can pursue that don't include getting fleeced by your favorite baseball team. Spring training is a money grab now. Twenty years ago, you could get a great seat at just about any game for $10. Today, "dynamic pricing" robbery is in effect.
David Ortiz weighs in on Mike Fiers, and he's not happy. ....
David Ortiz not happy w/Mike Fiers. "Oh, after you make your money, after you get your ring, you decide to talk about it? Why didn't you talk about it during the season when it was going on? Why didn't you say, 'I don't want to be no part of it?' So you're looking like a snitch."
The scary part is that people actually pay it. Less than 20 years ago, a couple of youngsters could walk up without parental supervision and buy tickets with their own money. Not anymore. "Sorry, kids, you don't have a credit card."
The always entertaining @_BAnderson30_ on how the A’s are too low budget ever to cheat, along with some cracks about the Coliseum conditions:

Ken Korach tells me he understands the disappointment and the frustrations from the fanbase about the lack a Bay Area radio station and says he would hate to lose even one listener. He says it’s incumbent on the A’s and the broadcast team to make it as easy for people as possible
