NBA injury reporting rule: Teams must "designate a participation status (Out, Doubtful, Questionable, Probable or Available) for each player ... and identify a specific injury, illness or potential instance of a healthy player resting that may affect any player’s participation."
This. The team doesn't seem to be doing Marvin any favors by continually suggesting he might be ready in 3 weeks.
So just saw Marvin will be re-evaluated in another 3 weeks. At this point, let’s just face facts: Marvin Bagley is out for the season. There is absolutely no logic to bringing him back this year. They should just take the pressure off and make it so.
I kinda want to create some spoof accounts just so Kevin has to share this photo with the world.

Kings forward Marvin Bagley’s sophomore season just got more nightmarish. The Kings say that while the No. 2 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft’s left midfoot sprain continues to progress through the reconditioning process, an update won’t be provided for another three weeks.
The Kings have announced Marvin Bagley III has visited a foot specialist in New York who confirmed he aggravated the left midfoot sprain he suffered in December. He will be evaluated again in three weeks.
I knew this could come up. And if I said this, others would sneer that Chriss is officially listed as drafted by SAC. Which he is. Kings and Suns made the trade and the Suns took him for the Kings, but officially he was taken by the Suns. Blame the NBA. Blame me. Whatever.
-Dragan Bender: 4th overall pick in 2016 by the Suns -Marquese Chriss: 8th overall pick in 2016, traded by the Kings to the Suns So who's next: More failed Suns (Alex Len? Josh Jackson?) ... Or just failed top-10 picks generally (Len and Jackson count both times)?
Updated injury report for Grizzlies at Kings Grizzlies: OUT – Justise Winslow (back); Grayson Allen (hip). Kings: QUESTIONABLE – Alex Len (hip). OUT – Marvin Bagley III (foot), Richaun Holmes (shoulder). Two-way players Kyle Guy and DaQuan Jeffries both inactive.
