This must mean that you've got to show proof of vax for the 49ers home opener Sunday.
RT @BryKno: The 49ers are up to a 76.5% chance to make the playoffs, per Football Outsiders' odds, but it certainly isn't laurel resting time. The NFC West is packed, and the NFC South has some surprise hot starts; it's not impossible to see the 49ers go 10-7 and still stay home. https://t.co/hMtGcHYPwg
49ers were at least intrigued with Sternberger in 2019. They had him on a pre-draft visit. Packers took him in third round (he scored TD vs. SF in NFCC (49ers won game!)). He comes off two-game suspension for violating NFL’s substance-abuse policy this week.
RT @SteinyGuruDibs: We're nearing October which means there's a LOT going on and we're getting to all of it. 1. 49ers' offensive woes a concern? 2. Giants in the throes of a pennant race 3. One day after the 49ers weathered another wave of injuries to their running backs, survived an anemic offensive start and scratched out a 17-11 road victory, head coach Kyle Shanahan naturally found himself talking about quarterback Trey Lance on Monday. https://t.co/WrTVlhtXLW
Circling back to some earlier tweets ... new 49ers running back Jacques Patrick was between 235-240 pounds last season but slimmed down -- a bit -- in the offseason and is around 228 right now. Cincy offense is similar to SF's, so getting up to speed should not be too difficult.
Pretty cool program put together by the newly-minted Hall of Famer.
