It’s a bit simplistic to compare it to other industries. Very normal ratio within pro sports. Rays have a 25-man roster and a staff of about 11. There’s lots of specialization in pro sports, and no shortage of resources to pay for a larger staff.
Thrilled Edgar’s 2018 season was good enough to finally make him a HOF for voters. Not so thrilled we may see Curt goose step to the same stage.
