The Texas A&M Board of Regents will meet on Monday at 5 pm CT, "for discussion and possible action on contractual and governance issues relating to Texas A&M University and the Southeastern Conference."
Welcome to our elite group, Alex. Bald guys who break 80 and like the Aggies.
Just carded a 77 at LACC south.. it’s the first time I’ve broken 80 in my life.. just needed all of y’all to know. Thank you for your time.
Arkansas and Missouri aren't big dogs in SEC football. The Aggies have improved, pocketed some $$ and gotten plenty of mileage off the SEC rep since leaving Texas' shadow. None of these schools have a reason to welcome Texas and Oklahoma.
On or off the record, nobody at Texas thus far is shooting down this "Texas/OU-to-SEC" rumor. At least not to us.
RT @RossDellenger: Ross Bjork says he was unaware of Texas/OU interest in joining the SEC. SEC ADs have not discussed the issue, he says. It's clear where the Aggies stand. "There’s a reason why Texas A&M left the Big 12 - to be stand alone & have our own identity. That’s our feeling," he says.
RT @38Godfrey: For years I’ve been told that annexing OU makes perfect sense and that Texas would be a huge pain in the **** because they’d never comprehend they’re equal in stature to half of the league. I can’t see them abiding life in a place that doesn’t tell them they’re special.
Best of luck in the future to Maria, a UGA icon at this point, to wherever she goes next. She will absolutely crush it
RT @ByBerkowitz: From this: “we want our players to get vaccinated because it’s the right thing to do. And it’s safe. It can be a competitive advantage. If one school loses three players for a game and another school doesn’t. That’s a competitive advantage. Our drive is to get to 100 percent.” https://t.co/pL6abr8tMJ
Shout out to Bryce Young lol
Nick Saban is talking at the Texas HS Coaches Association convention today. He was asked about NIL. Apparently, Bryce Young is doing quite well. “Our QB has already approached ungodly numbers, and he hasn’t even played yet. If I told you what it is … it’s almost 7-figures."
This is good. Get vaccinated.
SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey announces games will not be rescheduled this fall due to COVID. It is up to teams to get vaccinated. If they don't have enough, they may have to forfeit. Six of 14 SEC teams have reached the 80% vaccination threshold, he said.
