  • Favorite Mussina story: In Game 1 2001 WS, Arizona hammered his fastball-curve-change repertoire. Game 5, he was throwing a pitch at a different speed and pitched well. Afterward, I asked, "Did you really break out a splitter in the World Series?" He grinned and said, "sshhhh.."
