Big Z has fouled out for Arkansas with 12 minutes left. This is going to be a bloodbath to the end, see who has enough bodies. But the Hogs have a 12-point cushion to work with.

St. John's has played from behind often in the second half this season. But Arkansas is not messing around. Hogs by 8 with 16 mins to play.

Arkansas' Adou Thiero (knee) is doubtful for the Razorbacks' first NCAA Tournament game this week, per John Calipari. Has not played since 2/22. Averages 15.6 PPG and 6.0 RPG.

Arkansas trainers are working on Billy Richmond's left thigh. Hogs are already down to seven guys.

Ole Miss leads Arkansas 42-34 at halftime. Lead had been as high as 15 before a late flurry got the Hogs back in it. Rebels are aggressive and athletic.

One-point escape at home after losing a 14-point lead isn't a huge endorsement of Arkansas as an NCAA team, but it sure beats a Horrible Loss. Looks like there will be a four-way tie for ninth in the SEC with Vandy, Georgia, Miss State and the Hogs. Not sure how that sorts out.

HL Final: South Carolina 72, Arkansas 53. Hogs were down 30 much of the second half. Can a bubble team afford a blowout loss to the last-place team in its league? What if Drake, VCU, UC San Diego or a non-power conference bubble team lost like that now. They'd be buried.

Two SEC Bubble Results: Arkansas over Missouri South Carolina over Texas Razorbacks now have tonight's win over the Tigers, a road win at Kentucky, and a neutral site win over Michigan on their resume. That's a lot more meat on the bone than a lot of other bubble teams.

Arkansas had two opportunities in the past five days --- at Texas A&M and at Auburn --- to have resume changing wins and came up just short each time. The Razorbacks still have work ahead to play in the NCAA Tournament.

Tonight's game between Arkansas and Auburn is the 25th all-time meeting between John Calipari and Bruce Pearl. Calipari has won 16 of the previous 24 meetings. A massive opportunity for the Razorbacks, who are firmly on the bubble.
