The Philadelphia Flyers parted ways with John Tortorella last week.

Still learning a new language and not quite comfortable speaking English in front of reporters, Matvei Michkov showed a lighter, amusing side to his personality Monday night after Philadelphia’s 2-1 win over Nashville.

The 2024-25 season officially ends after games played April 17.

Matvei Michkov had two assists and Ivan Fedotov made 28 saves to steal two points from another non-playoff team.

It might not come as a huge surprise but it sounds as if Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen is being shut down for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
