Phantoms finding success as regular season winds down; Flyers prospects kicking off playoffs on high notes.

The Philadelphia Flyers are entering a new era without John Tortorella behind the bench and it might be one that is filled with much more positivity and levity to any game situation.

The field in starting to come together for the final step towards college hockey’s highest honor, as the first two regional finals wrapped up yesterday, and saw two teams advance to the Frozen Four (and bring with them both Flyers prospects taking part in the tournament).

Matvei Michkov scored two, the power play did something twice and the Flyers are now with two wins under the belt since John Tortorella’s dismissal thanks to a 7-4 win over the hapless Buffalo Sabres.
